Auction Item Preview

1) Captivating 3 Liter Bottles of Wine

Enjoy the bounty of Sonoma County with a couple of jeroboams, starting with a 3 Liter bottle of 2004 Robert Young Estate Winery Chardonnay. This chardonnay is made predominately from the Robert Young clone #17, a vine reputed to produce some of the most distinctive Chardonnay fruit in the world. To appease your penchant for reds, this package also includes a classic 2006 Chateau St Jean Cinq Cépages Bordeaux Blend. Medium to full-bodied and silky-textured, it can be enjoyed in its youth or cellared for a decade.

2) Shone Farm Grass Fed Beef

Beef, It's What's For Dinner! Here is your chance to bid on premium all natural grass fed beef hind quarters, hand raised by Santa Rosa Junior College Animal Science students in the classic ranching traditions. Raised in a healthy environment using humane care this hormone and antibiotic free grass fed beef is bursting in flavor but lower in fat and calories.

Note: Bidding will begin with a cut and wrapped quarter. The winning bidder has the first option to purchase the second cut and wrapped quarter. If declined, the second highest bidder will have the option to purchase the second cut and wrapped quarter at the winning bid price.

3) The Napa Valley Regusci Winery Experience

Planning a special party, corporate dinner or get-together in the near future? Perhaps a significant birthday or anniversary? If so, now is your chance to enjoy a delectable opportunity with 20 of your favorite friends at Regusci Winery of the Stag's Leap District. This is a very rare opportunity to hold a private party in the historic upper floor of the 100+ year old Winery amongst the oak barrels currently being used to age Regusci estate wines - Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Zinfandel, and Chardonnay. A sumptuous feast of North Coast seafood gathered and prepared by David Lose, Rich Kunde and Jim Pratt, with all the trimmings will be eaten at Richard's Grove and Saralee's Vineyard. Revisit the classic roadhouse from days past and bring them to life in a modern way through welcoming hospitality, attentive service and kickin' upbeat atmosphere. Grab an ice-cold long-neck supplied by one of this lot's local brewers and come as you are to visit one of our local roadhouse dining establishments, including: Washoe House, Denucci's, Diavolo and Stormy's. Caution!!! Extreme fun ahead!

Famed winemaker Fred Scherrer has created a one-of-a-kind 2010 barrel of Pinot Noir from Hallberg Vineyard in the Russian River Valley. Fred Scherrer has quietly gained attention and a steady following for creating handcrafted, full-flavored wines that express the personality of the unique Sonoma County vineyards where they are grown. This may be your only opportunity to purchase a wine this evocative. NOTE: Bidding will begin with ˝ a barrel (Ten cases). The winning bidder has the first option to purchase the second ˝ barrel. There is drama here in this aged to perfection Russian River Chardonnay which Susie Selby crafts to balance the buttery fruit with a good dose of acidity. This delectable dining experience celebrates many of our local producers and restaurants, by offering you the opportunity to have a monthly $100-200 feast in one our local fine dining establishments, which currently includes: Farmhouse Inn, Starks, Dry Creek Kitchen, Underwood, John Ash, Mosaic, La Gare, Rosso, Nick's Cove, Rustic, French Garden and Catelli's. Through the "Honoring the Past, Insuring the Future" campaign, members of our community can help bridge the gap made by the economic crisis affecting Santa Rosa Junior College. Your contribution is vital to helping local agriculture and natural resources students achieve their aspirations of becoming our future farmers, teachers, naturalists and community leaders. Tonight we are asking you to raise your paddle and help the SRJC Foundation Ag Trust by contributing to the Outstanding Agricultural Scholar - Leader Award. This is a Santa Rosa Junior College Foundation endowed fund, which means that the fund will last in perpetuity. We urge you to be an integral part of the "Honoring the Past, Insuring the Future" campaign so the dreams of our Agriculture and Natural Resource graduates do not disappear.
